Zoom Tips

- Please have your video on during regular class timings starting April 1st Wednesday. It is totally okay if you/your house is messy I won't judge at all! I want to still be able to give corrections for your dancing.

-Once you open Zoom and are in the meeting, please pin the video where you see my face to make sure you can always see me. On your laptop the box with my face will have three dots in blue at the right hand corner, you click there to pin. On iphone/ipad, double click on the box with my face to pin it.

- Please have your microphone on mute during the class unless you are asking a question. I will do it for everyone at the beginning, but when you ask a question please unmute yourself. This is to minimize echoing.

- Try to treat our virtual classes as much like your regular classes as possible! If you are your kurta/dance outfit please wear that, and your ghungroos as well if you have them. It will help you get in the mood!

- If you are not attending class, you still have to give me notice and let me know. I will be waiting to start class till all students are there.

- Log in to Zoom, and THEN begin tying ghungroos. This way I know you are there and in case you feel you will be late you can still be part of the class when I start.

- I always encourage being early to class, but try not to join the zoom class too early just in case I am in a class before. If you do just please mute your microphone when you come in to lessen disturbance.
